The Goodness Brewing Co.
Born in the vibrant heart of Wood Green, North London, in 2018. Founded by friends Damien Legg, Mike Stirling, Joe Louis Sheasgreen, Oliver Newbury, and Zack Ahmed, the brewery is now nearly a decade strong and led by head brewer Josh Billington.
Passionate about quality, The Goodness Brewing Co meticulously crafts each beer, sourcing the finest ingredients and fine-tuning water profiles to perfectly complement every style. Their hops are the heroes, delivering juicy, fruity flavours in every sip.
From core favourites to limited-edition specials, The Goodness Brewing Co is more than a brewery - it’s a celebration of craft, care, and the essence of great beer.
The All Good Book Shop
An independent, community-run cooperative. All books. All good.
Born out of a need to replace the beloved Big Green Bookshop in Wood Green, the All Good Bookshop began as a volunteer-led cooperative, with crowdfunding and community support helping to get it off the ground. Over the years, it has grown from a start-up in Blue House Yard to a thriving hub on Turnpike Lane, weathering challenges such as the pandemic and transitions in leadership.
Today, it stands as a welcoming North London space run by the community for the community, offering books, events, and a vibrant environment for local creativity and connection.
The Rec Shop
The Rec Shop was founded by Mary Otumahana (WondRWomN), a musician with a vision for inclusivity in the music industry. This voluntary-led social action project focuses on four key areas: recording, artistic growth, performance, and hands-on work experience - opportunities often reserved for industry insiders with record deals or financial support.
The Rec Shop works with teens and young adults (16-25) navigating life’s challenges, as well as younger participants (11-15) who are just beginning down barriers and providing practical guidance. The Rec Shop gives young people the tools and confidence to develop their creativity and thrive in the music world.
