Wood Green was buzzing with activity on Sunday 12 July as two fantastic community events brought residents, businesses and visitors together for a day of culture, creativity and celebration.
Wood Green BID was proud to support both the South Asian Arts Fest 2026 and the Noel Park Festival, showcasing the diversity, vibrancy and community spirit that make Wood Green such a special place.
The South Asian Arts Fest welcomed thousands of people to an inspiring celebration of South Asian arts, music, dance and culture.
As the first event of its kind in Haringey, the festival created an exciting opportunity for communities to come together, experience a rich programme of performances and activities, and enjoy one of Wood Green’s beautiful green spaces.
The event highlighted the importance of cultural celebration and community connection, attracting visitors from across the borough and beyond. Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed live performances, vibrant displays of creativity and a welcoming atmosphere that reflected the diversity of Wood Green.
Wood Green BID was delighted to be part of an event that not only celebrated South Asian culture but also showcased Wood Green as a welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.
Taking place on the same day, the Noel Park Festival once again proved to be a highlight of the local community calendar.
Now in its fourth year, the festival brought together local residents for a day packed with live music, food, arts and crafts, family activities and an eco village. The event provided something for everyone, creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect, explore and enjoy their local neighbourhood.
The continued success of the Noel Park Festival is a testament to the dedication of its organisers, volunteers and community partners, who work hard each year to create an inclusive and engaging event for local people.
Together, these two events demonstrated the strength, diversity and community spirit that define Wood Green.
