The Christmas tree and festive lights were officially switched on in Wood Green and outside Turnpike Lane Station on Thursday, 13th November, marking the start of the festive season🎄✨
Festive fun began earlier in the afternoon with Victorian carol singers and children from Alexandra Primary School, who performed a number of festive songs, spreading holiday cheer!
We were delighted to be joined by Haringey’s Mayor Ahmed Mahbub and Leader Peray Ahmet, Inspector Jamie Moggridge, Wood Green BID Vice Chair Sol Ali and Councillor Ruth Gordon,
❄️Local businesses and Council members also came together for the occasion, creating a warm and joyful community atmosphere.
