On Friday 19 June, we were delighted to host a community litter pick as part of The Great Get Together Clean Up project.
The event brought together a fantastic mix of volunteers, including employees from local businesses, members of community organisations, and local residents, all united by a shared commitment to keeping Wood Green clean and welcoming.
Thanks to their enthusiasm and teamwork, volunteers collected numerous bags of litter from across the High Road, making an immediate and visible difference to the local area.
It was inspiring to see so many people giving their time to support the community, with many participants expressing their enthusiasm for making litter picking a regular activity.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. We look forward to welcoming even more volunteers to future community clean-up events.
