Sohail Ali, Vice Chair of Wood Green Business Improvement District, was recognised for his outstanding contribution to the local community after winning the Community Hero Award at the Haringey Hero Awards 2026.
The awards ceremony, held at Jacksons Lane, celebrated individuals and organisations making a positive difference across the borough. Sohail Ali received the award from the Mayor alongside Peray Ahmet, Leader of Haringey Council.
